Pre-Owned Fender Telecaster Custom - Black - 1977

This thing is absolutely cracking! It’s in great shape for its age, with just the right amount of wear and tear to let you know that it’s the real deal. The fretboard is an amazingly dark piece of Rosewood, which is nice to see compared to maple, which is more common on this model 

It’s benefitted from a refret and new nut, done by a well respected local luthier a few years back, so it’s set up great for it’s age. The previous owner had it fitted with a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the bridge, which makes a great match for the WRH in the neck. Original bridge pickup is included - we put it back in and it sounded great but it’s quite microphonic - maybe an easy fix for someone though!

The pots are '76 dated and the original neck humbucker sounds fantastic, chimy yet mellow. The only parts we know to be not original are the bridge pickup, saddle springs and knobs, as well as the pro refret/nut. It is provided with a non-original hardcase.
