Known for hits such as the Hot Toddy, Porta IV and Hippohotamus pedals, JSA creates insanely good effects at very realistic prices, with an unparalleled attention to detail! We're proud to be offering some of his creations in-store & online.

Here's what JSA has to say about the Sustainrrr Pedal:

It's based loosely on the Elk Superfuzz Sustainar, but built around four hand selected vintage British lower gain PNP transistors (which brings it closer in sound to the red army overdrive) and a range of British mullard 'tropical fish' capacitors. It has lots of note definition and clarity which really help it cut through a mix, unlike classic big muffs which can get buried, but if you want to hide in the mix you can use the "mids" control to scoop out the mids. The toggle switch takes the clipping between my personal preference in the up position, the Coloursound "Super Tonebender" in the middle (which also boosts the bass and volume), and the classic big muff clipping in the down position.
