Those tube based harmonic tremolo circuits built in to old amps have become very cool again over the past few years, and for good reason; they have a very unique sound which blends volume modulation with phasing. Of course, trying to build a full tube harmonic tremolo into a pedalboard friendly enclosure for a reasonable price is next to impossible, but d'you want transistor was designed to replace tubes? The good old MOSFET! This is where the JSA Effects aptly named "Harmonic Trem" comes in.

Built around multiple MOSFET stages, the "Harmonic Trem" delivers rich and warm tremolo sounds. The real secret sauce here is the "Phase" control; with the knob fully left, the pedal acts like a standard volume modulation style tremolo. Turning the control clockwise then brings in a second phase cancelling modulation on the higher frequencies only, so with the "phase" controll fully right you have a deep, 'wubbing' harmonic tremolo effect. Being able to sweep through the range gives you the unique ability to fine tune the tremolo sound to your taste. The always on white rate led helps set up the "Harmonic Trem" quickly without just having to rely on your ears.

Hand built by one-man-and-his-cat in sunny ol' Derby, the "Harmonic Trem" is housed in a hand painted 1590BS enclosure with top mounted jacks - this is the same small footprint as the EHX Nano range of pedals, but deeper than a EQD/Walrus style enclosure, allowing for plenty of space for pancake.
