Pre-Owned Epiphone MIK Jack Casady Bass - Metallic Gold - 2004

*This bass was made in the Peerless factory in Korea in 2004. It is in generally nice condition for a 21 year old bass with a few small marks and bumps, along with general surface swirling (shown in photos) and very little fret wear. The pickup cover has aged and has lines on it from where the strings have blocked the light.

The electronics are performing in a slightly unusual manner - which is likely due to the fact that the 2.5k pots have been replaced with 250k pots, as the 2.5k ones had broken. These are notoriously tricky to get pots, there are various forums posts of people struggling with this issue! The 3 position switch for the transformer works as intended, the volume pot affects the output at the beginning and end of it's travel, but no change in the centre and the tone control only comes into effect at the very last part of its travel. The original caps and resistor for the treble bleed are all present. Swapping the pots out for 2.5k could rectify this, but there is also people online who have tried and failed! Basically, plays and sounds great still - just not as much response from the pots as normal*
