For players seeking stage-worthy features and an uncommon look, the GN90CE-ZC features a solid spruce top with ziricote back & sides sides. Ziricote is a rare central American wood marked by beautiful grain that sometimes resembles landscapes. The tone is similar to rosewood, but with more solid, sweet lower midrange content. The slim mahogany neck and 12”-radius bound rosewood fingerboard provide great feel and playability, while the onboard Takamine TK-40D preamp system gives you a built-in tuner, three-band EQ and gain controls, mid contour switch, notch filter and EQ bypass switch for the ultimate in versatility and sound quality.

Other premium features include maple binding; an abolone inlay and rosette, plus cool old-school gold open-gear butterbean tuners. This special guitar also comes with a Takamine gig bag as well!

*This original Takamine body is a scaled-down Jumbo at heart. The NEX has a silky balance to the tone that supports vocals beautifully.
