It’s in really lovely condition for a 53 year old guitar that has clearly been gently used and always looked after. The most recent owner bought it at No.Tom Guitars in Denmark Street 11 years ago and it has been stored safely and unused since then!

It plays super well, with nice low action and no rattling (1.6mm-1.4mm at the 12th - fantastic for its age). The frets appear to be original, but surely must have at least had a level and crown as there is very little signs of use. They are very much the early 70s low and wide style.

One of the tuners, the bridge, strap buttons and a few screws have been changed over the years - but the important stuff is all original. The Pat Pending mini humbuckers with black plastic covers are as they should be - a great bright bite and dirty up beautifully. All 4 pots are dated 73 and the wiring loom is original and untouched. Everything works just as it should, with no crackles. There is a hole in the upper horn where a strap button has been at some point too.

It’s a lovely weight at 6lb 6oz. Includes period hardcase that fits very badly but is yellow inside!*

This is a pre-owned instrument and may show signs of use.
