The CLF Research L2000 showcases the innovative design and groundbreaking features from Leo Fender's CLF Research company back in the 70's, wrapped up in a fully modern "2K" model. It gives a taste of the cutting-edge features from G&L's early years through some of the same features - such as the early headstock shape, Slim "C" neck profile, CLF knobs and '81 style control plate. The top tier craftsmanship of this instrument is a sight to behold and it's a dream to play as you feel the quality throughout every element.

It's fitted with two Magnetic Field Design humbuckers for a warm tone, and is designed with a Basswood body, with a Hard Rock Maple neck and maple fingerboard. It features a Tri-Tone™ system with 3-position pickup selector, a series/parallel switch and a 3-position pre-amp mode switch for ultimate versatility. 

It's in beautiful condition, with the only imperfection is some extremely faint scratches on the back of the body which are only visible when the light bounces off it.  The metal work is immaculate, and just the slightest amount of fret wear.
